Playing RealAudio
By Peter Coggins

Thanks for all the help on RealAudio, especially Jody, who gave me
a very technical run down of how RealAudio works.

I read that Frank Metzger solved any RealAudio problems by getting
the full version. I suspected this would be the case.

I have, however, solved my own problem for the moment. I downloaded
the latest (shareware) Real Player 5.0, which made no difference at
all, but then I set the modem to 14.4 even though I have a 33.6. Now
when it loads, it thinks I have a slow modem and buffers most, if not
all, of the file before it starts playing.

It does take a while to load it all before it starts, but it's better
than pausing in the middle suddenly. I have listened to most of the
Nimbus tunes now without a hitch.

Thanks again
Peter Coggins
