I am doing a conversion of the Ampico Dinner Music series to Disklavier
format, and have converted all except Dinner Music #15 --"Southern
Melodies" #71493, which starts with "Turkey In The Straw."  Does anyone
have a copy of this roll I could borrow or buy?  I would be very, very
grateful.

The Dinner Music series provides a moderately interesting study: the
first nine of the rolls, made in the '20s, were by J. Milton Delcamp,
of one style, and continued through the life of the Ampico Model A.
Delcamp died in the late '20s, however, and Dinner Roll #10 was cut as
part of the Ampico B library, performed by Adam Carroll.  Frank Milne,
using both his own name and pseudonyms, participated in the Dinner
roll series as well, through the end in 1941.

There are 23 dinner music rolls in total, of which, for some odd
reason, there are two #14s and three #15s.  The styles of these later
rolls changes with the musical styles and tastes over the years.  The
range of the Ampico dinner roll series over time covers the era 1924 or
'25 for the first one, through 1941 for the last one.  Curiously, this
is the same era as that of the great classic automobiles.  (Must have
been something in the air at the time that created great style!!!)

If anyone knows the reason behind the odd numbering of the dinner roll
series, I would be interested.
