I like Roger Waring's proposal for MMD Author Awards!  I think they
should be called Muddy's.  ;-)   <that's not just a wink, that's mud in
your eye!

And I want to nominate Matthew Caulfield for best historical inform-
ation and/or best contribution in the band organ field.  I have learned
so much from Matthew's interesting contributions and I really
appreciate it.  How about awards for best contributions to each of
the other fields as that earned a chapter in Bowers' Encyclopedia?

I don't think the award needs to be anything more than an annual
honorable mention on MMD.  Does anyone really want to display a
downloadable certificate?  Hell, I always feared I might actually WIN
the AMICA "footsie" award and have to find a place to hide it for a
year and still be able to find it for the next convention.  ;-)

A belated happy holidays to all of you from my vacation spot with my
inlaws in the Missouri Ozarks (Ron Bopp, I wish I were just 150 miles
closer to you, and I wish I weren't surrounded by tea-totalers!).
