Identifying Your Polyphon
By Larry Greenfield

Hello -- Your Polyphon seems like a nice example of a small box.
Polyphon used a few different types of identifying marks for its
discs (please, not records, but discs). To best identify your box, you
need to obtain a copy of Encyclopedia of Automatic Musical Instruments,
by Bowers, from Nancy Fratti <musicbox@sover.net>.

I found several possible model numbers for your box on pages 146-147 of
Bowers; Bowers is the musical bible of cylinder, disc boxes and
pneumatic instruments. Yours may be the style 41C or style 41 or 2041.
All made in the 1900s-1910s. Without a picture, I can't do any better.
Be aware, that not all models made are pictured in the 'bible'.
Please, let us know on the MMD.

Regards

Larry Greenfield
