Leather for Player Piano Valves

I am not comfortable with the imitation leather valves that Player
Piano Supply sells for replacing secondary valves in the Standard or
Autopiano stack.  What are the rest of you using?  If anyone knows of a
good quality alternative, I'd like to know about it.  Thanks!
