Faventia - Smallest Street Piano
By Sam Marquez

I just wanted to thank all the respondents regrading the value of
the Faventia street piano. As usual I expand my horizons with every
question. To share the input:

This particular model Faventia was made in Barcelona, Spain, circa late
1950's. It is 6 inches across the front, 17 3/4 inches tall, plays six
tunes, pin-studded cylinder, crank for music in the front and crank on
the bass side for tune selection; opaque-painted with scenes (vs. wood
grain), and placed in a donkey-drawn wagon. Value seems to be from
$750 to $1250.

I was able to bring it to pitch with no damage, and it's holding.
Everything is now working properly. The owner was quite pleased for
the comeback. Thanks all for your common experiences. This is the
smallest, true street piano I have encountered. Thanks, again. We'll
have it on the site as soon as the photos are developed. (No, no
digital, yet.)
