Value of Faventia Barrel Pianos
By Marty Roenigk

I've been watching with amusement the discussion on the value of modern
Faventia barrel pianos. We have had these from time to time, and now
avoid buying them unless they come along in a larger collection and we
have to take the dregs with the good stuff.

It has been our experience that the real retail price for these small
barrel pianos is $350-500 at best. The only time they exceed that is
at an occasional auction where either buyers get carried away or they
simply don't know what the market is. I would hate to see anyone buy
one of these based on the higher "values" that have been thrown around,
because they are bound to be disappointed.
