Overlapping Divisions in MIDI Organ Files
By Fritz Gellerman

[ Fritz is temporarily un-subscribed, so "please reply to sender
 [ and MMD."

I am adding MIDI to my North Tonawanda band organ, which plays the
Wurlitzer 150 scale. I had planned to use the MIDI scale for the
Artisan 48 key or North Tonawanda 49 key organs used by Galen Byrd and
others which runs on two channels using Devtronix hardware.

This scale has two MIDI channels with the bass, accompaniment and
melody on one channel and the trombone, trumpet and drums on the other.
I'm ready to wire it up, but find that there is a one note overlap
between the accompaniment and melody parts. It appears that the thing
to do is move the accompaniment to the second channel and the drums to
the first. Before doing this it would be nice to know if anyone else
has a Wurlitzer 150 MIDI scale, so as not to have different scales
floating around.

I have been off the MMD mailing list for a while, so would appreciate
a direct response if possible.

Regards,

Fritz Gellerman
