Reig Verbena Miniature Barrel Piano
By Gary Stevenson

References relating to the Verbena Barrel Piano are in MMD 980126,
980128, 980129, 980205. Relating to this string of Verbena informa-
tion, one entry was posted to me directly (I have removed the name as
I did not ask permission before reprinting)

> Hi Gary, I have one of these little barrel pianos. Mine is
> natural wood color with a Spanish looking couple dancing in the
> center of the barrel area of the front and a lyre in the upper area.
> The one I have is really pristine. Looks like it was not played
> with at all.

> If you are using a browser that can get photos, I have a digital
> camera and can take some pictures and sent.

> Do you need any information from it? Can you photocopy the tune
> sheet on that piano and send it to me please? Mine is gone. If you
> would like photos, please let me know.

Further, after making the new brass barrel snail cam to repair the
instrument I received locally, I took my newly machined cam to a local
foundry and had 10 copies made. Since my last report to the MMD, two
more Verbena pianos were shipped to me, to have new brass cams
installed. I am photographing them for an MBSI article.
