I vote for a complete re-do of Treasures of Mechanical Music.  I have
the first edition and it has been a valuable resource for many years as
well as fun to browse.  I'm looking forward to The Golden Age, (aren't
we all?).

Art, if you made $3.50 an hour for your time spent on the book you did
very well according to my experience.  I'm sure I made pennies.  My
feeling is that the authors of small volume works are paid for each
book less than what a waitress makes in a tip for serving a meal.

I do it to get some good information out there where people can find
it and as my contribution to the hobby.  During my working years it was
also a way of getting away completely from the job -- better than
basket weaving for keeping one sane.
