Visiting Beckenham, London UK
By Mike Knudsen

During the 2nd week of this June I'll be spending a week with my
church choir in Beckanham, a southern suburb of London. I'd love to
hear about any MMD-specific museums, fair organ rallyes, pubs with
mechanical music -- well, you know.

I like all forms of mechanical (and hand played) music and instruments,
especially organs and cylinder boxes. Also ships and marine engines,
clocks, and churches. Are any of the great monkey organ roll noteurs
(Wright, Simpson) nearby?

I know there's more around London than I can hope to see in two weeks,
but I'd like a few high points to hit when I break away from the group
(which I trust will do St Paul's, the Abbey, and other places I
wouldn't miss). And of course the pubs after the museums close up!

Yes, I'm the one who asked what to see in Vienna. And I need another
week back there too!

Thanks in advance,

Mike Knudsen
