Musical Shoeshine Brush
By Gerry Bay

Well, this is a strange one. I recently moved my mom from her home
into an apartment. As we were breaking up the home, I stumbled across
a shoe shine brush with a cylinder movement inside. It belonged to my
grandfather. You press a button on the brush and -- Voila! Music!

The cylinder is 1-1/4" X 7/8" and the comb has 30 teeth. The mechanism
frame is sturdy and is stamped, "Swiss." On the bottom is "AR28R."
It's probably 20th century, but if anyone has any info on what this is
(Mfr, date, etc.), I would appreciate it.

Thanks,

Gerry Bay
