Wurlitzer 164 Band Organ
By Lee Roan

Hi Robbie, I don't know where the original inquiry on the Wurlitzer
Model 164 Band Organ came from, but am responding to Hal Davis'
comments in Digest 980502.

[ It was mentioned in Digest 980501 in Jim Kenney's introduction.

I have a 1976 LP record of the model 164 owned by Paul & Meryl Torin of
New Jersey. There is a photo of the instrument (and the Torin's) on
the jacket, as well as a semi-detailed history and description of it.
The title of the record is "Sidewalks of New York"

Will be glad to share any of this information. There are 17 tunes on
the LP; I can put them on cassette, just send self addressed, stamped
box & blank cassette. (I assume this is legal; I expect the record has
been "out of print" for many years.) Mailing address on request.
