Veneer Dent in Piano Case
By Larry Toto

A refrigerator mover shoved an old Conn Artist tube organ into my
unrestored Chickering and dimpled the veneer right in the most visible
place possible. The dimple is about 1/2" in diameter.

I wonder if anyone has experience with removing a dimple by getting
underneath the veneer and propping it out to a flush position again.
I am pissed about this. The movers were cut-rate, dumpy pickup truck,
and irresponsible types (my uncle hired them), so don't suggest going
after them for compensation. I just know that whenever I look at this
piano, that ding will be visible. Any suggestions would be
appreciated. (No, I will not take a Valium).

Thanks,
Larry Toto
