Gulbransen Instruction Rolls
By Walt Carroll

Yesterday when I wrote my query about Kastanome rolls I was in a hurry
and forgot to ask about the Gulbransen instruction rolls that I seem
to have come into possession of as well.

I have roll numbers 2, 3 and 4. They appear to be unused or used very
little. My questions are: how many rolls make the set, and how hard
are they to find (i.e., to complete the set)? Do they only apply to
Gulbransen pianos, or with a little imagination would they work (or be
useful) for other pianos?

As you can probably tell, I have not tried to use them on my piano yet,
partly for time, partly because my wife is trying to play and catalog
all the other rolls we have first, and partly because they look so nice
and clean (and rare?) that I'm afraid to mess them up.

My thanks in advance to all who take the time to reply to this and
yesterday's set of questions.
