Ordering Piano Supplies
By Sam Harris

If the piano supply companies were all that serious about who they
sell to they would require positive proof, (federal tax identification
number or copy of state of county privilege license) and then would
research it in order to determine if the applicant was a registered
piano technician or a legitimate piano based business. They don't
have time nor are they willing to spend any of their resources (money)
to hire people to check this out. They are a business to sell and make
a profit not to police the piano service industry.

If all they require is a request on a business letterhead then make
one. I sent my request in on my church letterhead and nothing was
every questioned.

I don't believe I would call it fraud, but I believe it can be
considered dishonest to declare a business when there is no such
business, but if they are not going to make an issue of it then
neither would I.
