Pathe Disc Recording Processed With DcArt
By George Bogatko

ALL: I've put two samples of using DcArt on vertical cut records on
the WWW page. These are from a Pathe recording of the Joseph Samuals
Orchestra (Band). As you'll see, verticals can clean up very nicely.
I used a plain 78-rpm size Shure stylus. On one ("Kisses") I had to
increase the pressure to 3 grams to keep it in the groove since it was
so shallow.

I'm not sure what speed Pathes are supposed to go at, so these examples
were played at 78-rpm. DcArt can correct for speed, but I didn't use
that feature here.

Go to <http://www.intac.com/~gbogatko/78rpm.html> and scroll down
a bit. You can't miss it.
