I believe I have some info.  The Optigon was made by the Mattel toy
company.  The recordings were made in Compton, CA, I believe in the
60's.  They had one for sale at "Black Market music" (Los Angeles).
I have heard and recorded every disc in that thing and it sounds
amazing.
