Mike:  I see that Bob Conant has already responded to your inquiry
(thanks, Bob).  The East Coast Chapter tends to have more meetings
closer to NYC (but not in) as that is more central to where the
majority of our members live.

However, in the past few years we've had meetings in the Boston area,
Vermont and Connecticut, and Maine, so don't think there's no mech-
anical music in New England -- quite the contrary!  We had a great
meeting in Wiscassett in the Fall of 1996.

I'd be interested in getting your ideas for putting on a meeting in
your new area after you've settled in.

Meanwhile, check your MBSI Directory for the names of collectors near
your new home and contact them.  Like all of us, I expect they'd be
happy to show off their collections to you.  And don't forget to
contact Don Scheetz about joining the East Coast Chapter.
