Dear Marc,  Don't miss the Badisches Landesmuseum in Schloss Bruchsal,
about 50 kilometers from Stuttgart.  Other interesting museums are in
Sinsheim ans Speyer, all very near to Mannheim.  Don't worry about the
distances; they are small in Germany and there is no speed limit on the
Autobahn!
