Southwestern Pennsylvania AMICA Chapter Meeting

This is an update of an earlier posting in MMDigest 980702 about the
organization of a Southwestern Pennsylvania chapter of AMICA.

Saturday, Aug. 29 -- tour of West Overton Historic Village; tour with
performance of Orchestrion at Clayton (home of Henry Clay Frick in
Pittsburgh) and lunch; return to West Overton and personalized tour of
Frick's birthplace with pianos, gramophones, autoharps, etc.  Cost for
transportation, tours and lunch -- $35.  Cost for West Overton Village
tour and light refreshment -- $7.50

Sunday, Aug 30 -- tour of Linden Hall (recently on "America's Castles")
with stunning Tiffany windows, performance of Aeolian player pipe-organ
in the great hall, lunch.  Following the lunch, we will hold an
organizational meeting and elect officers.  Cost for tour and lunch
$20.

We welcome all to join us on either or both days.  Because of
vacations, please reserve your spot by the end of July.  Anyone who
has a conflict and can't make this meeting, please let us know of your
interest and support.
