Greetings,  I found the MMD web page while searching for video tapes
of orchestrions.  Would you please forward this message to the list,
and/or subscribe me to the MMD?

I'm trying to help a friend of mine here in Eugene, Oregon.  He
is interested in obtaining video tapes of orchestrions and other
automatic/mechanical musical instruments.  He would especially like
to see videos of the inner workings of the instruments while they are
operating....and of course, hear more of the music!

Can you help us find a source, or sources, for video tapes of the
larger and/or more exotic instruments?  My friend rebuilt a player piano
a  few years ago, has a large collection of rolls, and is fascinated by
the big orchestrions.  Recently he saw a brief TV segment about a
collector in San Diego county (Mike Reeder?  Not sure of the spelling
of the last name) who had a large orchestrion and many interesting
music boxes, etc.  If someone on the MMD knows him, it would be great
to be able to get in contact with him, too.
