I join Dan Wilson in welcoming David Dibley to the MMD.  I have been
trying to persuade him to join for a while, even to the point of
threatening to sign him up.

I am glad that Dan has confirmed the acute "e" in Marque Ampico that I
mentioned a few months ago and which caused such prolonged discussion. I
know it ain't good French but it's definitely there.  Maybe it slipped
past the same proof readers who check the work of stonemasons.
