I am pleased to announce that AMICA now has its own domain name and new
web site at

   http://www.amica.org/

From now, AMICA will always have this address, regardless of where it
may be physically located in the future, or regardless who may be its
webmaster in the future.

Included at this time are 41 pictures of activities and events of the
1998 AMICA Convention recently held in Niagara Falls, Canada.
I've made the pictures as small as possible, so at 56k in prime evening
time, they should download in about 3 minutes.

For some reason, one of the pictures is failing to come through, even
though there is nothing wrong with it.  Using FTP, I've uploaded it,
then downloaded it into my computer in a different directory, and after
the round trip, it displays just fine in all my utilities, including
Netscape.  I'm aware of the problem and am working on it.

Stay tuned for preliminary information about our next 1999 Convention
in Boston.  For our Australian Convention in 2001, a modest
preliminary link is in place for a single page announcement at this
time.  Both will be expanded as additional information becomes
available.
