Half Duo-Art Player System
By Patrick Boeckstijns

Hi, I'd like some information on Half Duo-Art pianos. A Weber of this
type was offered to me.

I understand the Half Duo-Art has only an expression box (one) that
controls the accompaniment. The theme is controlled by the foot pump.
Now, this Weber has also an electric pump. What happens if the piano is
switched to duo-art on electric pump?

I would expect no expression or accent would be heard in the theme
part. If this is the case what happens to the snakebites that trigger
the theme notes. Are they just ignored ? Are the tracker-bar holes
that are operated by the theme-accent snakebites just disconnected ?

Can anyone explain to this neophyte ?

Thanks.
