Seek Barrel Organ
By Mark Curtis

I have always been fascinated with barrel organs, (monkey-grinder
organs, hurdy-gurdies). I realize that the hurdy-gurdy is a Medieval
instrument akin to a lute with a crank, but around here barrel organs
were often called hurdy-gurdies.

I was wondering if anyone knew where one could be found and what it's
price would be. I saw a brand new one in a catalog, that was made in
Germany, but I was not paying anything like that. I figure I could get
it for half that if I knew the name of the company that made it and
sent directly to Germany for it.

The catalog company had a mark-up of around 200% on some other things
that I knew the wholesale price for. I would surely appreciate hearing
from you.
