"Carousel of Dreams" by Neiman Marcus
By Joyce Brite

The Neiman Marcus Christmas catalog is out and they're offering a
carousel this year:

"This one-of-a-kind traditional carousel sports six authentic animal
figures -- a goat, lion, rabbit, and three different horses -- hand
carved of basswood and hand painted using artist oils. Other features
include solid brass poles, decorative hand painted rounding boards,
270 lights, mirrors, emergency stop buttons, and a continuous tape of
old-time carousel music. Fully operational, it runs on a five
horsepower, 220-volt motor. Custom-designed and carved by Larry
Lefferly, a third generation carver, in Cornersville, Tennessee, each
animal is signed by the artist. Approximately 12'T x 22'; carousel
must be installed on a concrete slab, ideally under a pavilion-type
   roof."

   Price: $300,000

For that price, they should include a real band organ rather than a tape!
