Canadian Legal Problem: Ivory Keytops
By Craig Brougher

I'm really curious about the real source of Ivory for piano keytops.
Years ago I came across an old photo of an Alaskan Ivory mine. In the
photo were about 75 workers all together for a picture. In the
background was a couple of awesome mountains of ivory tusks taken from
the Wooly Mammouth which had been preserved in caves, and in the
background too were a few "barracks" and steam-operated machinery that
obviously sawed the ivory into plates suitable for shipping.

Just wondered if anybody else saw those old photos, and where they could
be found??
