Hi gang,  Joe Schumacher of Wilmington, Delaware, has been a very
prominent member of the Musical Box Society International for many,
many years.  On Friday morning, October 30th, Joe suffered a stroke
with deep-brain bleeding.

Joe, like many of us has battled high blood pressure for years.   He is
paralyzed on his right side and cannot speak.  However, his condition
is now stable and he will leave Intensive Care tomorrow.  His prognosis
is "very guarded" at the moment.

We visited him briefly tonight and gave his wife, Lenora, the notes
of concern that some of you had sent to me:  Thanks, Angelo, Phil,
Beatrice, Bob and others.   If there are others that would like to send
a note to Joe, please use our <cotps@aol.com> address and I will see
that he get your notes.  We plan to take his wife, Lenora, back and
forth to the hospital until Joe is able to come home.
