Overheating Turbine Motor
By Hal Davis

Whenever you use the kind of device I presume you're speaking of,
I try to get a 135 VAC model to run on 120 VAC. Otherwise, putting
a light bulb socket in series with it and inserting an ordinary light
bulb will drop the voltage. Try several different wattages of bulbs is
necessary to get the desired results.

Another solution to the problem would be to use a triac voltage control
device whereby you can vary the effective voltage applied to the motor
of the blower, or turbine, unit.
