Terry,  I would suggest compressing your .wav file into a .mp3 (MPEG
layer 3) file.  This should give you approximately 10:1 compression.

You can find a freeware compressor (MP3Comp) and many other tools
(freeware and shareware mp3 players and browser plugins) at this site:

My favorite player (shareware) can be found at http://www.winamp.com/ .

As an alternative, Yamaha offers its Twin VQ compression and player,
with supposedly (I'm not in a position to judge) better fidelity for
a given compression ratio.  It doesn't seem to have the support that
mp3 has, though.

I'm fairly new to the 'compressed audio' scene, so it's possible
someone with more experience may enlighten us both.   :-)
