Pneumatic cloth condition: clean but generally perished through
Wind motor type: triple see-saw type like Aeolian
All connectors and tubing complete
"Metrostyle" pointer missing

Piano: overstrung and underdamped: piano action plays evenly with
a good tone throughout.  No dead sounding or buzzing bass strings.
Ivories reasonably white.

Hammers: some expected wear but nothing excessive
Strings: bass copper tarnished, all intact
Dampers: felts still with life in and springs still intact

The key rail controls as follows:

  slot #1: 2 levers in 1 slot (similar to some pedal Duo-Arts, one
     slightly larger control lever is parallel behind the other)
     for soft & loud pedals
  slot #2: as above lever arrangement: separate bass and treble
    soft and loud
  slot #3: re-roll/silent/play
  Key lock under keybed

Cabinet: good condition, veneers intact, not too much work required

Tuning capability: hold tune fine

The piano and player are completely unrestored, un-tinkered with and
complete, the player action is a quite compact-sized late model size
rather like a late Aeolian stack.

This piano is in a piano dealer friend's warehouse currently.  He
doesn't do players at all and is thinking of junking the action to
sell it as a straight piano.  Yes, I know -- gasp, shock, horrors,
etc., etc. -- but he has to make a living somehow.  He would negotiate
a very reasonable price and (if you are not too far) could probably
deliver too.

I'd buy it myself but I have 3 players at home and no need for this
one.  Interested parties please e-mail me as soon as possible as
I'm afraid the clock is ticking fast on the fate of this player.
