27-inch Regina Corona Disc Changer
By Larry Greenfield

[ Re letter from <bruce@cybrzn.com> in MMDigest 98114 ]

I have one of these wonderful changers. They are the among the first
jukeboxes (juke is a Creole word meaning to dance).

The first thing to do is not mess with the linkage system; that has
been adjusted at the factory. I spent a lot of time cleaning mine and
getting all the years of dirt and grease off; I also, cleaned the
combs, and repainted the bed plate.

I am not aware of what you exactly you need to do to restore your
treasure, but perhaps ask Nancy Fratti some general questions at
<musicbox@sover.net>, or ask me some more questions, or ask Bob LLoyd
at <PapasLT2@aol.com>.

Bob and I have changers, and both of ours have the least common of the
coin-op mechanism set-up, and the least common of the two disc lifting
mechanisms. They both play well. That is all for now.
