Hi John, From your diagram, it looks like someone hammered in the
tuning pins, without supporting the pinblock.
As to a fix, I wonder how it would work if you removed the pins in
that area. Jack up that section, putting epoxy in the separations,
and get the laminations back together.
When you reinstall the pins, be sure to support the pinblock in that
area. The correct repair is obviously, a new pinblock, but that is
an expensive proposition.
