110-Key Euclid Beach Park Gavioli on LP
By Jeremy Brice

I read with interest the comments made by John Page about the record-
ings of the 110-key Gavioli from the Euclid Beach Park when owned by
Bob Miller. I have one LP of this organ and was also disappointed with
it, as it sounds more like an 89-key as a good number of the registers
seem to be jammed off.

A new recording of this organ at its best would be a welcome addition
to most enthusiasts collections. It would be particularly welcomed
by U.K. organ fans, as we could compare the original 110-key Gavioli
sound with the Jonas family's Gavioli, which has gained much new
pipework during conversion back to 110-key from the common 98-key
scale. (Incidentally, the final phase of this rebuild is booked to
take place early in the year 2000).
