Regina Corona #35 Sells For $27,000
By Gary Rasmussen

Hello all! After many years of playing with player pianos, and
now after a couple years of reading the MMD, I have become more
interested in large music boxes.

This past week, I attended an antique auction in Cincinnati that had
a very nice upright Regina Corona model #35 available. It had a very
nice mahogany case with a bow glass door. It had a self change disk
mechanism with 12 - 15" disks and two combs.

After researching the MMD and related web sites, I determined that
if this could be purchased for $5000 or so, it would be a great deal.
To my surprise, it sold for $27,000!

Is this a typical price for this unit?
