Dear Friends -- Success at last!  Thanks to your Digest, and several
long-distance phone calls, and lots of advice from fellow technicians,
I have in my hot little hand the piano part I spent a month searching
for.  Great thanks to your Digest and you for printing my woes.

I found the part from Mr. Pointer at the Piano Co. in Clearwater,
Florida.  I spoke to him the morning of Christmas Eve and had the part
Monday.  I have a local tech coming in to install it tomorrow.  Wish
me luck, and good luck to all searching for their part as well.

(for whom I hope the spelling is correct) for his expertise and
craftsmanship as a machinist.
