Hello,  I'm wondering if you might be able to set me straight on
Hupfeld Pianos.  Would Ludwig Hupfeld be the same as the now drum
and percussion instrument manufacturer?  And if so would you know if
Hupfeld once made accordions?

The reason that I ask is I have an old one-row Accordion or Melodeon
made by Ludwig.  The trade mark is a picture of the world globe printed
on a nickel plate.  I have e-mailed several Accordion, Concertina and
Melodeon Stores and no one seems to know of Ludwig making such an
instrument.

This particular instrument is at least 90 years old, it has been in my
family that long.  Any info or resources would greatly be appreciated.
