Replacement Hammers and Repetition Rate

I'm currently rebuilding a circa 1928 Monarch, and will order a
replacement set of hammers for it.  What weight of hammers were
generally fitted in these cheap uprights?  I presume that hammers
that are heavier than the originals will degrade the repetition rate.
