Automatic Music Roll Co. (AMR) went out of business a couple of years
ago, and they had been out of the piano-roll business for  several
years longer than that.  The explanation I was given was that they
were going to concentrate on book publishing.  I bought some of the
last of their rolls about 1992(?), including a copy of Joplin's 'lost'
rag, Silver Swan.  I don't know who actually cut the rolls, but they
were top-grade.
