Hello Jody and to all of MMD,  I have been a MMD lurker for quite
some time now but have never posted, so I figured it was high time.

I grew up in what I fondly like to think of now as the "mechanical
music belt " of Pennsylvania and Western N.Y. state, and I have been
interested in all mechanical music, since  before color television
came along... :)

I helped to rebuild a player at age thirteen and I was hooked.  The
man who influenced me ran several carnivals and had several band organs
which he kept up -- listening for hours to a Wurlitzer 105 taught me
how to play some of this music -- so I was able to absorb a lot in my
younger years.  Things got away from me and I am just now getting back
into spending time and money in pursuit of this wonderful music.

I now have a couple of pianos and am deeply involved in building a roll
collection and helping others to do the same.  I would love one day to
acquire a Wurlitzer or a North Tonawanda, but that is elusive for now.

I am searching intently for a owner of a fairly rare (?) Apollo
piano that plays 15-1/4" Apollo Concert Grand rolls.  I have a small
collection of rolls for them and would love to be able to connect them
up with an owner that would appreciate them.  While I do buy and sell
rolls, I am not trying to get rich on these, just give them a good home
where they would be played.  If anyone knows of someone or IS someone,

I want to thank all of you MMDers who, quite unknowingly, have helped
and encouraged me over this past year with tips and music sources.
