DeBence Antique Music World
By Dan Armstrong

Hi all, This is in regards to Phillipe Rouille's question concerning
DeBence Antique Music World. Yes, they are somewhat one and the same.

The original museum for which you have the address, closed when the
original owner (DeBence) died. It was located on an old farmstead.
The new museum is located in downtown Franklin, PA, and the new owners
are running it on a donation/volunteer/admission fee basis to keep the
instruments in operation. Many of them need repairs of one sort or
another, but most of them will play, and fairly well. The tour guides
love to show them off and will play each and every one for you.

I visited there in October of last year when I was visiting Story &
Clark Piano Co. and participating in the Pianomation installation
class.
