Piano Players In Hood River, Oregon
By Bernard Trotebas

Hello everyone, my name is Bernard Trotebas. I'm a French guy who
moved into the Columbia Gorge about 4 years ago. My wife and I
recently opened the Hood River Antique Mall and we have in the shop
four piano players.

1) Rogers & Son 65 Notes, nothing really extraordinaire besides the
fact it was in the building for more than 10 years without any care;
we plugged it in and it works just fine. Our customers enjoy it very
much. By the way, we are looking for more 65-note rolls (the ones
with 10 songs per roll).

2) Auto Player 88 Notes, a beautiful piece but some of the keys are out
of order, it seems that they are activated by electric relays instead
of the usual vacuum hoses. And some of the relays are not functioning
anymore.

3) Pianola Aeolian in a fair condition , the kind you have to pump with
your feet.

4) Howard Manualo in perfect condition, coming from my wife's family.
Not for sale, never ever she says...

Anyway, we've subscribed to this group in the spirit of learning more
about Mechanical Music machines and the people who enjoy and restore
them.

Thanks for your time,
best regards,

Bernard and Lu Ann Trotebas
