FS: "New" Re-cut 65-note Rolls
By Adam G. Ramet

Dear MMD'ers, A player acquaintance (Internet-less) has asked me to
forward information on some rolls for sale to interested parties, and
I'm the "intermediary" on this sale. I know there has been discussion
on obtaining recut 65-note rolls so I hope there is some interest in
the following.

For sale: Playtime 65-note piano rolls. Made by Laguna Rolls (Steve
Cox) a decade or more so ago.

All rolls are in their original boxes and with original labels and in
as-new condition. Although they have been played, none shows any sign
of damage. All the spools and boxes are complete. Each weighs only
the weight of say a new QRS roll as opposed to a heavy old wooden spool
(if you're worried about shipping costs) and, yes, the moulded pin ends
really are very good indeed and all are present and fully intact.

Each roll is the standard single tune size you'd get in a QRS single
roll. The paper is all clean and unmarked. The rolls play on all
players (or pushups) that play standard 65-note player pianos rolls.
They are not "A" rolls or "O" rolls or anything. They are 65-note
chromatic non-themodised piano rolls, so don't say I didn't tell you
all about them, OK.

The rolls are not overprinted with any squiggly lines or lyrics either
-- they are just great simple pure re-cuts on plain paper.

The titles:

6577 Dominique - Song of the Singing Nun
651 Ain't Misbehavin' (Fats Waller)
6547 The Continental -foxtrot (Conrad)
6512 Turkish March from Sonata in A (Mozart)
6586 Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer
6536 The Anniversary Waltz
6521 Charmaine -waltz (Pollock/Rapee)
6542 Shine on Harvest Moon
- Foxtrot Medley: Little Old Lady, Rosalie & Roses in December
- Cheek to Cheek -foxtrot (Berlin)
- Broadway Melody -foxtrot (Nacio Herb Brown)
- Me and My Shadow

How much are they? E-mail me with your best offer by Friday AM GMT
and the best offer has got the rolls (shipping costs will be whatever
the local post office charges are -- packing is nothing). Will I
split the lot? E-mail me with whatever you wish to make on the rolls.
Anything considered. Name your bid.

Best regards

Adam G Ramet
