Julian --  Yes, it is I that now owns an original Vocalstyle 50488,
"The Pearls", by Jelly roll Morton.  The roll is in good condition,
but the box is beat beyond recognition.

I did not have it when the discussion regarding the "Missing Jelly
Rolls" took place in/around MMD 990222, and this discussion completely
slipped my mind when I saw it.

It was found in lot of 860 rolls that was advertised for sale in the
MMDigest a few months back.  The roll's acquisition was purely kismet.

 [ In 990222 MMD Frank Himpsl wrote that the four missing rolls are
 [ "The Pearls", "Mamanita", "Kansas City Stomp", and "New Orleans
 [ Blues".  All titles were issued by Vocalstyle in the 50000 series,
 [ and all labels are inscribed "Played by Jelly Roll Morton".
