Source of PVA Glue
By Jeffrey Borinsky

In MMD 990601 Bob Oppenheim asks about a US source of PVA glue.
I believe that it is called "white glue" in the US.

We have a similar problem in the UK (and elsewhere) when US writers
refer to such products as "Elmer's", "Modge Podge", etc. Robbie and
I had a go at some electrical terms a few years ago. Perhaps we need
a US/UK glossary somewhere in the MMD archive. And we should not
ignore the French and others too.

[ Maybe by now the whole world knows that "aspirin" -- originally a
[ Bayer trademark -- is the generic name for acetyl salicylic acid.
[ Not many other trade names are as well-known. We need a list
[ of generic names and the Latin names, or the chemical formulae.
