Wurlitzer C Orchestrion Parts Needed
By Jack Niewoehner

I'm working on a Wurlitzer C orchestrion, and am missing a few parts.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. If you have any of the listed
parts and are willing to sell them, please let me know what you have
and the price. If you don't have the parts but know or think you know
where they might be obtained, either originals or reproductions, please
also let me know. The parts needed are as follows:

Wurlitzer C:
drum head tensioners for bass drum (12)
drum head tensioners for snare drum (10)
horseshoe magnet for slug rejector

The bass drum has very nice calfskin drumheads, but the snare drumheads are
split. I am assuming that I should replace the snare drumheads with
calfskin so that they match and also because they are 13 1/2 inches in
diameter and are not a standard available size. Does anyone know where to
get good calfskin for making snare drum heads?

Again, please let me know if you can help me in any way.
Thanks,
Jack Niewoehner

[ I've split this message into 3 parts so that searches
[ for the title would find the individual instrument types. -- Jody
