Polishing Old Ivory Keys

Whatever you use, please be very careful about the heat you generate
buffing the keys. It takes only a little warmth before the glue
attaching the ivory to the sugar maple wood core softens.

Loose ivory.

(This is also a hazard of sanding ivories.)
