I am sad to report that George Baker passed away Monday, a week ago.
Most of you know that he fought cancer for quite a long time, and that
he was very sick for several years.

George was a very fine person, very gracious with his time when someone
needed help, and also an excellent restorer of Mechanical Music and
also antique cars.  Although I never met him in person, he spent many
hours on the phone with me discussing technical issues, and also
personal ones, so I felt like I knew him well.

He will be missed by all of us that knew him.

 [ out to be an early airplane engine built by the Wright Brothers.
