Introduction & Wurlitzer 165 Recordings
By Dan Robinson

Hello MMDians, I am a new subscriber to the Digest. I discovered
it through Dynamic Recording's web site on the Seabreeze carousel and
organ.

I live in Rochester NY and am a great fan of American band organs,
especially the Wurlitzer 165. I am collecting recordings of the 165s,
and I found some tapes of the old Seabreeze W165 organ from a 1980's
tape series (before the "Carousel Breezes" volumes) that isn't being
made or sold anymore.

If anyone has any old Wurlitzer 165 recordings that aren't being sold
anymore that they wouldn't mind copying for me, I can copy the old
Seabreeze tapes in exchange; e-mail me at my address below.

Also, Dynamic Recordings' first CD of the new Seabreeze Verbeeck 165
organ should be released sometime this summer.

[ Welcome to MMD, Dan. Matthew Caulfield told us about Dynamic
[ Recordings but we need an update. Please keep us posted on your
[ sound archiving project. I'll share my tape recordings of the
[ Ross Davis W165 band organ at Griffith Park in Los Angeles. :)
